Just Curious
I am a postdoctoral researcher at INSA Lyon, CITI Lab, working with Oana Iova and Fabrice Valois on Indoor Localization using LoRa 2.4 GHz.
In 2024, I obtained my PhD from the University of Lille, under the supervision of Nathalie Mitton in the FUN research group at Inria Lille.
My research interests lie at the intersection of wireless communication systems, IoT networking, and machine learning. I am particularly interested in how radio signals can reveal information about their environment and how this can be used to make wireless networks more adaptive and intelligent.
My work combines hands-on experimentation (embedded platforms, real-world data collection) with data-driven and machine learning approaches, with applications in indoor localization, opportunistic networking, and large-scale IoT systems.
In summary, my research interests include (but are not limited to):
Wireless communications (LoRa / LoRaWAN, BLE, Wi-Fi)
IoT networks and embedded systems (STM32, SX1280)
Indoor localization and radio ranging
Machine learning applied to radio signals
Ad hoc and delay-tolerant networks (DTN)
Protocol design, routing, and performance evaluation
Wireless network measurement and dataset analysis

Embracing my mountaineering era 🏔️🐐
Computer science and telecommunications are my profession, but beyond them I live a life full of curiosity, creativity, and adventure.
Whether I'm developing wireless technologies, painting, playing the violin, running mountain trails, fueling my athletic spirit, or learning a completely new skill, I'm happiest when exploring something I didn't know yesterday. I rarely say no to an adventure, a challenge, or the opportunity to discover something new.
I've been drawn to astronomy, not as a field I work in, but as a way of seeing this world. Carl Sagan's Cosmos left a lasting impression on how I think about the universe and our place in it.
Well, I believe life is too interesting to fit into a single box. So maybe it's best not to define it too much… after all, to define is to limit! ;)
PS: If curious about my art, you'll find some of them in the Art section ;)
